Greetings from Namur, Belgium!

Hey y'all

So, This week has been crazy! It being transfer week and all.
It was so hard to say goodbye to Dunkerque. For example, the Goldings were very sad that I was leaving, and little Rebecca wouldn't let me go. They even came to church last week!  It was the first time in years that they'd come. They had an awesome experience!  I also got to talk at church that Sunday, so it was an awesome opportunity to share my testimony with the branch. I think the Goldings were probably one of the biggest miracles that I saw in Dunkerque!
Well packing always stinks, but yes I did manage to get here in one piece this time! I talked to some really cool people on the train as well. One of the guys was a retired man from Charleroi who has been visiting places all over Africa and Europe and the US and  EVERYTHING! We talked about all his trips and he talked a bit about the politics in America.  I guess that's coming up soon. Then of course, he noticed the big black plaque I had, and we started talking a lot about religion.  He believes that there are good things in all religion but isn't quite sure if God exists or not. So, I got to share with him a little bit of my testimony and talk about the Church of Jesus Christ.  It's just to bad that I didn't get to give him a Book of Mormon or our number or something!!!
Namur is the most beautiful place I have ever seen!!!!    When the train pulled in, I had had to take two trips to take all of my junk out of the trains and it was getting a little obnoxious... I was heading back on the train to get the last load and a very nice young lady had already grabbed them before I could get back on.  Never happens in Europe. She was about my age, super cool, and apparently knew a lot about the church and missionaries. I thought she was a member at first, but I guess she has a friend who is a member! But yeah, she helped me around the station and helped me find Elder Wood.  She was very pretty, but that doesn't matter.  Anyways, things are going very well here.
We had a baptism for an amie named Beebee this Sunday.  Wow ! She is just the most amazing lady I have ever met. She is just super super nice and loving and yeah I can't find anything better than just happy to describe her!
So Namur is pretty much on fire already! We have taught a few people already. We got one of the amies they had taught once before I came, to come to the baptism and she was very touched by the experience. We have also had a few awesome discussions on the street with people teaching them the importance of family and our relationship with our heavenly father and improving that relationship through the small and simple things such as: reading the book of Mormon, praying, and going to church. This is how personal revelation works.  This is how we receive answers, talk to God, and develop a relationship with Him. I have seen so many miracles happen by those small and simple things. God didn't want to make it complicated for us. If we can but do those small and simple things we can gain a witness that God lives and that He loves us and that we are His precious sons and daughters with divine potential to obtain the same blessings that He has!
Yes, we have all these things going on with tons of work and studies and sickness and other difficulties.  God is always there and has provided a way for us to learn or for these experiences to make us strong and always abounding in good works!
I love this gospel and I am excited to be a district leader with my companion Elder Wood. Good things are already and will continue to happen here. I hope that everything goes well in the USA, Avignon, China, and wherever else these crazy things are being sent!!!
Loves y'all from the bottom of my heart....well I guess the sides and tops to.....anyways
Aimez
Elder Jason Lyons!
